Our last full day here. This morning Poppy and I went on a walk for patisseries and coffee while Jill did some packing. More delightful treats were enjoyed by all.
Later in the morning we all went out and picked up another pair of pants and a sweater for Poppy. Copenhagen’s weather looks really wet and chilly for at least the next few days… here’s hoping that turns around.
Before nap it felt like Poppy had hit a bit of a wall. She didn’t want to play much at the playground and then was really moody around lunch time.
Thankfully she was much more agreeable after nap so we decided to hop on the metro and head to Le Marais. We started at a playground of course, and this one had a bunch of sand. She really enjoyed digging with some of the cups and toys that were lying around. From there we went to an early dinner at Les enfants du marché. Every dish was great. Poppy ate some squid karaage and some of our whitefish (meagre, similar to sea bass) so we considered that a win on all sides.
We even had a Clovis Ochin sighting while we were eating. He was hanging out in the market too.
A bit of a stroll after dinner then back home on the metro. We’ll leave our place around 2 tomorrow so we have the morning for one last café visit and to finish packing.
Last video is a guy who walks around our neighbourhood rocking the harmonica. I’ll miss him. It’s been a slice Paris.
