Day 13: Paris

We started the morning with a mediocre breakfast at Bonne Heure. From there we walked over to a playground for Poppy to burn off some of that smoothie energy. She had some bumps and bruises at the playground this go ‘round which put her in a bit of a mood. She was having a great morning earlier.

We intended to do a bit of shopping on the way home but called it after one kid’s store because Poppy wasn’t in to it. We got her a giant strawberry macaron on the way home which appeased her for the time being.

Her nap started around 1:30 and afterwards she was still a bit off. She was particularly clingy to Jill this afternoon, so the two of them went out together to run a couple errands while I started packing back at the apartment.

Our dinner was at nearby Sornettes which was incredibly good. I’m not sure how to describe the food… tapas style but with Mediterranean and Asian thrown into the mix. Poppy even ate two whole croquettes to herself (in addition to some of our shoestring potatoes) which was great to see. Not the most balanced meal but we’ll take it.

Hopefully we’ll get one last trip into the city centre tomorrow around our packing. We’ll see!
